What are some healthy cold lunch ideas to take to work?

+2 votes
I only have 30 minutes for lunch at work and don't have time to wait in line to use the microwave to warm up my food. What are some quick lunch ideas for work that do not require re-heating?

Some of my favorites:
-Carrot sticks & bell pepper spears and whole grain crackers with hummus, plus a piece of fruit and a small handful of cashews
-String cheese with a turkey slice wrapped around it, leftover sauteed broccoli from last night's dinner, grapes, popcorn
-Plain greek yogurt with fruit, plus a handful of pretzels
-Leftover quinoa pilaf
-Cold brown rice salad with kale and raisins
-Salad, of course
-Sesame noodles
-I love, love, love cold polenta! And cold stir-fry. Think of what dinner foods you like cold, and cook extra the night before!

Chicken salad
Egg salad
Tuna salad

Whole grain, all natural bread is a good idea; add the above salads to it. Or add to whole grain natural crackers.

Chunks of plain cooked chicken are very tasty; no heating necessary.

Sandwiches are a great cold lunch idea! There are tons of types of sandwiches out there for the meat eater to the vegetarian.

I grew up eating peanut butter and jelly, italian grinders and slim jim sandwiches (don't ask).
