Not much. They both contain high amounts of fibre.
Until recently, rice bran, a by-product of the way in which rice is milled, was thrown away. Now scientists have discovered it is a good source of dietary fibre and is also rich in anti-oxidants. Some studies, however, have shown that rice bran also contains fairly high levels of arsenic.
Wheat bran like rice bran, contains high levels of fibre but doesn't contain such high levels of arsenic. Wheat bran can make you feel fuller for longer, which is helpful if you are on a diet.
